Psychiatric assessment of sky's story:
She's been brought up by her father, mother missing in her childhood and adolescence. Father is a critical male figure in her upbringing and prematurely overpowering her perception of man and his relative role in her life.
Hence, she needs a figure that closely resembles her father, in terms of ability, appearance and/or even physical attributes. So she did, a man 12 years old than her, financially strong and stable.
"Two nights, one bed" is her ego's plea for love and truly emotion-driven. The confict between her ego and superego is on-going, sadly to sky, her superego prevails in the selection of husband, which confronts to her life-long expectation of man.
Her superego may fade and alter after her marriage over time. Sky should try to constantly rebuild her ego by asserting a new mental image of love and partner, not father and love. She said that man "loves" her in a way of a father loves a daughter, so change that and you might get her back, if you still want to, then.
Good luck. |
